VSU News Site Online Now

VALDOSTA - Valdosta State University launched a brand new site, , that focuses on campus news and events.

The former news site was transformed into an interactive information portal, which provides visitors university news in a simple format with a multitude of options for providing feedback and submitting events, news items and achievements, through online forms. Addressing both internal and external communication needs, VSU News will be an essential tool for networking with all university constituencies. A new section, “Visionary,” will profile VSU students, faculty and staff that boast vision and success, and the new format will increase opportunities for human interest features as well as breaking news and updates.

Jennifer Tanner, communication specialist within the Office of the President, is the content manager and Bobby Lacey, Web designer in Publication and Design Services, created and will maintain the site. Contact Tanner at (229) 333-2163 or e-mail for more information.
